America!
America has risen
Awash are its past sins.
It doesn’t really matter
What happens next!
Should Obama ascend
Or he is checked.
Should he succeed
At a steed's speed
But failed to provide
What he promised indeed
Because he gave in to fame & greed.
America has risen fast
From the abyss
It had sunk in the past.
A guilt ridden inhabitant
Can now walk straight
With the burden of sin
Expunged from his chest.
At last! Rest assured, it is not late
I for one will accept,
That the land of many traits
Will soon be genuinely great.
